By booking a session, purchasing a voucher, or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1. General

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Outdoor Pawtraits (“the Photographer”, “we”, “us”) and the client (“you”, “the Client”).

2. Booking & Deposit

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session (deposit amount varies by package).
• The remaining balance is due on the day of your session unless paid earlier. Deposits are deductible from the final balance.
• Gift vouchers must be paid in full at the time of purchase and are valid as set out below.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• If you provide at least 48 hours’ notice, your session may be rescheduled once at no extra cost.
• Deposits are non-refundable; if adequate notice is given, they may be transferred once to a new date.
• If Outdoor Pawtraits must cancel, a full refund of monies paid or an alternative date will be offered.

4. Weather Policy

Outdoor sessions depend on suitable weather. If conditions are unsuitable, we will rearrange your session for the next available date.

5. Client Conduct & Responsibility

• You are responsible for ensuring pets are under control and safe at all times.
• Outdoor Pawtraits accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to persons, pets, or property during the session, to the extent permitted by law.
• You are liable for any damage caused to the Photographer’s equipment or property by your pet or yourself.

6. Image Usage & Copyright

• All images remain the copyright of Outdoor Pawtraits.
• Purchased images include a perpetual, non‑exclusive licence for personal use (printing and sharing with credit). Commercial use, competitions or publication require written permission.
• We may use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing to info@outdoorpawtraits.co.uk before the session.

7. Gallery & Deliverables

• Your private online gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks of your session (typically within 1 week) and will remain available for 30 days.
• Final images are supplied as digital files and/or prints depending on your package. RAW files are not supplied.
• Additional edits or products requested after delivery may incur extra charges.

8. Travel & Location

Sessions include travel within 20 miles of DL postcodes. Additional travel, parking fees, or location permits will be agreed in advance and charged at cost.

9. Lateness

Please arrive on time. Sessions shortened due to late arrival will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting later bookings.

10. Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase unless stated otherwise. They are non‑refundable, transferable once with written notice, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

11. Refunds

Due to the custom nature of photography services, refunds are not offered once a session has taken place or digital files have been delivered. Faulty physical products (e.g., prints) will be replaced. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

12. Force Majeure

If events beyond our control (extreme weather, illness, transport failure, etc.) prevent the session, liability is limited to rescheduling or refund of payments received.

13. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
